Juniperus sabina

It is a stunted woody plant, which grows more in width than in height. It inhabits the summits of the mountains. It is distributed throughout central and southern Europe; in the Iberian Peninsula in the eastern half and in the Cantabrian Mountains. It adapts to almost all climatic and soil conditions. It is used ornamentally in rockeries and xeriscaping.
