Santolina chamaecyparisus (ECO)

It is a kind of subshrub or herbaceous plant that can reach 70 cm in height and has numerous thin stems. The leaves are narrow, linear, divided, fleshy and aromatic. They give off an intense aromatic odor reminiscent of chamomile, hemispherical heads sprout with yellow tubular flowers. Native to southern Europe where it grows on hills and clayey or stony slopes, it needs a well-drained soil.
