Perfect plant for rockeries, flowerbeds and ground covers. With long, lanceolate, shiny green leaves, this 60 cm perennial plant has beautiful white perfumed flowers. It adapts to all types of well-drained soils. It can also be grown in pots and as a cut flower. Its flowers are edible and can be added fresh to salads or cooked as vegetables. Its properties are similar to those of Valerian, i.e. sedative, calming and antispasmodic. It needs little watering and the plant should be pruned once in bloom.
