It is a glabrescent herbaceous plant, glaucous. With stems reaching a size of 12-60 cm tall, erect or ascending, simple or branched from the base. Lower leaves long petiolate, upper leaves usually seated, lanceolate, serrate. Capitula long pedunculate.
