The recommended pre-germinative treatments for this species are as follows:
- For the genus Genista it is recommended to sow at 22ºC for 6 weeks or more, pass -4ºC for 6-8 weeks. Then increase the temperature to 10ºC. If germination does not occur in 4-6 weeks, repeat the cycle from the beginning. If the hot/cold cycles were not long enough, a new cycle will be necessary. Germination days 14-30.
- Infuse and leave to cool for 24 hours, passing over a sieve to collect the hydrated ones and repeat the treatment on the non-hydrated ones.
