Perennial herb with a basal rosette of leaves, soft and hairy, with rounded blade and crenulate margin, cordate base and long petiole. From the center of the rosette arises a green, hairy stem, with long branches bearing a few leaves, smaller than those of the rosette with attenuated blade to a short petiole, and culminating in a cluster of a few large flowers.
