Succulent and oval leaves, 2-3 cm long, depending on the variety and in adult state, either remain green, or take a reddish hue, which increases with cold or drought. The stems emit adventitious roots that make the plant spread and cover the ground. Abundant pink flowers, grouped in inflorescences on top of a flower stalk that protrudes above the leaves.
