It is a deciduous tree whose shape is rounded and can reach 20 meters in height and rapid growth at the beginning can live up to 160 years. Its leaves are imparipinnate, with 3-8 pairs of leaflets that can measure up to 20 cm in length. Its wood is used in the timber industry as it does not usually become moth-eaten. Indifferent to soils but prefers deep soils.
