Shrub or small tree, with very abundant branches that reaches 3 m in height. It is a plant suitable for areas near the sea, as it tolerates saline environments very well. It is undemanding with respect to the substrate as long as it has a good drainage. It is used to fix sandbanks, dunes and riverbeds.
