From the labiatae family, it is a perennial plant of 20 centimeters high, with numerous woody stems coming out of the trunk, containing numerous leaves. Its leaves are small, entire, oval, flat, joined to the stems by a small petiole and with numerous spheroidal glands of red color and very marked veins. The flowers are grouped in dense inflorescences, located at the end of the stems. It has a copper-colored tubular calyx, bilabiate, with five teeth and pink corolla.
