Project for the collection, processing and selection of seeds of the endemic species Erica andevalensis, in the basin of the Odiel river (Huelva), before the filling process of the basin of this reservoir. A project carried out to achieve the conservation and reintroduction of this species.
Process carried out, from the collection of the phytogenetic material itself, to the subsequent use of the seeds for their reproduction in a nursery, and subsequent reintroduction (planting) in the basin environment, thus avoiding their loss and preserving both the species and the natural ecosystem of the area that houses it.
