It is an erect plant that forms a dense, silvery clump. The stem reaches a length of 15 to 30 cm. The leaves are lanceolate, pointed, with a length of 20-50 mm and a width of 3-8 mm. The flowers are white. Sepals 6-10 mm long, free. Petals twice as long as the sepals, with a groove almost half the length.
