Semi-woody bush, with a feathery appearance of large size lavender and superb late flowering. It reaches 1.5 m in height. Leaves: oval, lanceolate, toothed, pubescent and glabrous. They give off an intense aroma of sage, and are sticky to the touch. Flowers with long lavender blue spikes. If pruned in spring it will have more beautiful inflorescences.
