Technical Information

Planting information:

For the genus Maple spp. it is recommended for those species that only present internal dormancy (A. negundo, A. platanoides, A. pseudoplatanus) to stratify the seed for 90 days at 5ºC in humid sand. For those seeds that present double dormancy, a previous treatment by scarification followed by stratification should be combined.
Pre-cooling for two months at 1-5ºC
They should be sown in autumn or in spring if they have been previously stratified.
