This species has sarmentose stems with branches bearing lily-like flowers 6-8 cm wide, white with yellow central markings. It grows up to 60 cm in height and 30-60 cm in spread. It forms dense, spreading fan-shaped basal clumps. Its preferred habitat is in semi-shade under tall, open trees.
