Wild olive tree. It is a shrub or sapling up to 10 m high very resistant to drought and cold. Used as a rootstock for all cultivated olive varieties and as an ornamental because of its low or no maintenance. It produces small olives (acebuchinas) attractive to birds in autumn.
Seed cleaning with soda (degreasing), followed by washing in water for 2 hours, and germination at a constant temperature of 13ºC. For 48 days.
-Washing for one day, and germination at 15º C in darkness or half day light for two months, and cold stratification for one week.
