Perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Poaceae family, it is native to southern Africa. It is a large plant with extended growth, it can reach more than one and a half meters in height when flowering and more than one meter in diameter. The bushes are rounded with numerous leaves. The leaves are elongated and narrow, linear and green.
