Annual or biennial herbaceous plant, pubescent. Stiff stem. Narrow leaves of 3 to 4 mm, hairy. Flowers grouped at the end of the stem in inflorescence in flower heads of 2 to 10 flowers, surrounded with long green bracts, foliaceous.
