Evergreen shrub similar to oleander. It grows on all types of soils with sufficient moisture. Prefers little sun. It resists frosts and admits frequent cuttings. Used as ornamental in medinas, slopes, dry and shady gardens.

Mechanical scarification of the seed is recommended; cold stratification can also be applied for 2 months. Germination does not usually exceed 50%.
