Maximum size 30 centimeters. Endemic habitat of the dolomitic mountain ranges of southern Spain, in the provinces of Malaga, Granada and Almeria. It has medicinal properties as a stomachic and stimulant.

Direct sowing at 5º C maximum is recommended, taking 7-30 days to germinate or heat treatment (100º C) for 5 minutes.
