Shrub up to 2 meters high, branched and with abundant yellow flowering. Fresh and deep soils. Whose distribution is southwestern Mediterranean. It is found in forests and thickets, on sandy coastal soils, siliceous in pine forests, but also in rich and deep soils of cork oak forests.

Blanch for 5 to 10 minutes or let stand in hot water for 24 hours until cooled.
